Most likely designed to sell candies at a local corner store. The tin should especially appeal to collectors from Romania, since the tin was made in Romania, Sibiu, circa 1940s. We tried to research provenance but couldn’t find anything similar. Great collectible and displays great! We find that, with vintage tins, the more colourful they are, the more in demand they are. The tin is unpolished and is offered for sale as found.
Are you nostalgic after the first centralized COOPs in Romania? The first law that established such institutions appeared at March 28, 1903. This vintage tin is the perfect collectible reflecting that period in the history of Romania.
