About Hazel-Atlas Glass Company

Hazel-Atlas Glass Company was an American glass manufacturing company that operated from 1902 to 1964. It was one of the largest producers of glassware in the early to mid-20th century and is well-known for its Depression glass and kitchenware. Hazel-Atlas Glass Company grew out of the Hazel Glass Company, which was founded in 1885. The Hazel Glass Company was established by two brothers, Charles N. Brady and C. Rufus Brady, in Washington, Pennsylvania. The company initially focused on producing glass inserts for zinc caps used in Mason jars.
