Similarly, a Texas family discovered their portrait by Nigerian artist Ben Enwonwu is worth $200,000. A damaged Giacometti sculpture, initially deemed worthless, sold for $612,000 after restoration. Retired NYC sanitation worker Nelson Molina collected 45,000 items, aiming to open his "Trash Museum" to the public.
