Offered for sale today is an excellent Victorian-era Celluloid Photo Album, with its original stand and its beautiful ornate clasp. The front displays embossed flowers. There are no photographs inside which leads us to believe that it was probably never used. It contains 15 pages. It has a hairline crack on the back but otherwise is in great condition considering it is over 100 years old. Made out of celluloid, an early form of plastic derived from natural materials such as cotton and nitric acid.
