This Belga Legere from 1955 has been in our collection for the past 15 years. Since we acquired it we haven't had the chance to see another one the same or similar again. And we doubt we'll see one soon. It is already framed, with probably a 1960s or 70s frame, so as a collector of tobacco signs there is nothing you need to do but display it. It is a cigarette advertising sign targeting women. A great and simple design with vivid colours and powerful branding.

The sign is in great condition, considering it is mounted on cardboard - and it is over 60 years old. It is mounted on cardboard with a layer of what looks like plastic. The sign is labeled bottom right with the following: TABLEAU "CELLULIT-CADRE" Brevete. Bottom middle: LES CREATIONS PUBLICITAIRES. And bottom left: ROB OTTEN 734 CHAUSSEE DE GAND, BRUXELLES - we believe that (1) CELLULIT-CADRE is the technology used for the plastic and (2) ROB OTTEN was the company responsible for manufacturing the plastics used in this advertising sign.
