A high quality Ancient Near Eastern Bronze Age sword, dating to approximately 1200 B.C.

With subtly curved pommel, ribbed hilt and long, elegant triangular blade. The piece exhibiting a beautiful malachite patina.  

A wonderful example of Bronze Age weaponry.  

Length of weapon: 15 1/2 inches. The stand used in the photographs is not included.

Condition: Very good, handle reattached. Beautiful patina. Old lot number on blade.

Provenance: Ex. collection of Arthur M Sackler, 1913-1987. Acquired by World Class Antiques from an important London-based antiquities dealer in 2013.
