For sale today is a lot of 2 vintage Solido Jaguar XJ 12 No. 1096. One is black and the other is white. Both toys are in near mint, unplayed condition. Boxes are solid and complete, but show handling and storage wear. Both boxes have remnants of old sale labels.

Solido is a French diecast toy company that was founded in 1932 by Ferdinand de Vazeilles in Oulins, near Paris. Originally, the company produced a range of high-quality toy cars and trucks made from zinc alloy, known as "Solido Metal." The Solido Metal toys were highly detailed and were notable for their accuracy and realism.

After World War II, Solido shifted its focus to producing a range of military vehicles, including tanks, trucks, and aircraft. In the 1950s and 60s, the company expanded its range to include a variety of civilian vehicles, such as cars, buses, and motorcycles.

Today, Solido continues to produce a range of diecast toys, including military vehicles, classic cars, and contemporary models. The company remains highly regarded among collectors for the quality and detail of its products.
