One interesting fact about vintage Corgi toys is that the company was the first die-cast toy car manufacturer to include glazing, or clear plastic windows, in their models. This innovation was introduced in the mid-1960s and set a new standard for toy car design and realism. Prior to this, most toy cars had solid metal bodies without any clear plastic parts, which made them less realistic and engaging for children to play with.
