About Yugoslavia

Yugoslavia no longer exists as a political entity. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which was a country in Southeast Europe, began to disintegrate in the early 1990s amid ethnic and political tensions. The breakup of Yugoslavia resulted in the emergence of several independent states. Its successor states are now independent countries with their own governments and political structures.
