Offered for sale is a set of 2 vintage military diecast toys: Corgi American M60 A1 Medium Tank & SU-100 Russian Medium Tank Destroyer. Both are loose and in great condition.
The American M60A1 Medium Tank was a mainstay of the United States military and its allies during the Cold War era and beyond. Developed in the late 1950s, the M60 series was designed to replace the aging M48 Patton tank. The M60A1 variant, introduced in the early 1960s, featured several improvements over its predecessor, including a more powerful engine, improved armor protection, and a stabilized gun system.
The SU-100 was developed during World War II as a successor to the SU-85 tank destroyer. It was based on the chassis of the T-34 tank, one of the most widely produced tanks of the war. The SU-100 featured a redesigned superstructure and a more powerful 100mm D-10S main gun. The SU-100 saw extensive service with the Soviet Army during World War II and continued to be used in various conflicts well into the post-war period.
