Description

This creamware Five Fingered Vase or Posey Holder by J. Palin Thorley, is an authentic reproduction of 18th-century English "Leeds" Cream Color Ware. Marked on the base. According to Chipstone Foundation: "Thorley’s printed mark was registered in 1956. In the application he states that he used the mark as early as 1955; therefore, pieces with this mark must have been made between 1955 and the 1970s, when Thorley ceased producing."
