• Both are in excellent condition. The Pekingese dog has barely noticeable flea bite on the back of one of its paws.

About Artesania Rinconada

Artesania Rinconada is a renowned line of handcrafted ceramic figurines produced in Uruguay. Founded by the Carbajales brothers, Jesus and Javier, in the early 1970s, these figurines are celebrated for their unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and artistic flair. The name "Artesania Rinconada" roughly translates to "artisan from the corner" or "corner artisan," reflecting the small, family-run origins of the business.

Artesania Rinconada figurines are made of a fine ceramic material, often described as stoneware. The figurines are typically hand-crafted and hand-painted, with each piece going through multiple firings to achieve their distinctive glazed and painted details. The combination of ceramic and detailed painting gives these figurines their unique and collectible appeal.

Artesania Rinconada discontinued production around 2007, when the company appears to have ceased operations. As a result, their existing pieces, particularly those made before this time, have become more collectible and highly sought after by collectors.
