This mid-century flame glaze ashtray, crafted by the now-defunct Canadian Ceramic Craft (CCC), represents a piece of Canadian pottery history. It is a large ashtray, at approximately 7.5 inches in diameter, perfect for making a statement as a corner centerpiece, even if you are not a smoker - use it as a catchall or simply as a testament to Canadian pottery artists of the 1950s and 1960s. Capacity for 3 people, 6 cigarettes. Excellent condition with no chips nor cracks. A bit of glaze crazing seen at high magnification, commensurate with its age. It seems like it was never used.
