About Lomonosov Porcelain
Founded in 1744 by Empress Elizabeth of Russia, the Imperial Porcelain Factory (later known as Lomonosov) is one of the oldest and most prestigious porcelain manufacturers in the world. Originally established in St. Petersburg, the factory was dedicated to producing high-quality porcelain for Russian royalty and nobility.
After the Russian Revolution, it was renamed the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory and continued crafting exquisite figurines, dishware, and decorative pieces. Known for their fine quality, hand-painted details, and rich artistic heritage, Lomonosov porcelain items are highly collectible.
The company still operates today under its original Imperial Porcelain name, producing both classic and modern designs. Collectors value these pieces for their historical significance, craftsmanship, and limited production runs, making them sought-after treasures in the world of fine porcelain.
