Here we have a wonderful vintage pair of solid walnut Hummel theme music box bookends with 2 different Swiss REUGE movements.  These bookends have swivel drum style music boxes with an applied card stock lithograph image of a Hummel figure; each of the boxes play a different tune: "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" and "I'd Like To Teach the World to Sing" (see photos for labels!). These bookends measure: 6 1/4" long x 4 1/4" deep x 7" high.

Condition: Few blemishes and marks that come with age and handling, otherwise in working and in excellent aesthetic condition. A fine addition to any Hummel/ music box collection or room decor!

The books illustrated in one of the photographs are not included. If you are curios about the books, they are for sale: it is a 18th century (1766) first edition of The General History of the Late War by John Entick (and Other gentlemen).
