Description

On the market today is a beautiful antique hand-made in Germany swirly marble. This particular marble doesn't have many play hit marks and a few very small chips. One could say upon inspection that it has never been played with. It is a large marble with the diameter of 1.15 inches.

Latticino core marbles are a type of collectible glass marble that were produced in Germany in the late 1800s and early 1900s. They are characterized by a central core made of twisted or woven glass cane, which is then encased in layers of colored glass to create intricate patterns. The name "latticino" comes from the Italian word for lattice, which refers to the criss-cross pattern created by the twisted cane.

Latticino core marbles were often made using a variety of different glass colors, including red, blue, green, yellow, and white. They were also sometimes made with metallic flecks or aventurine, which gives them a sparkly appearance.

Latticino core marbles are highly sought after by collectors due to their beauty and rarity. They can be quite expensive, with some examples selling for thousands of dollars at auction.
